My husband Larry and I traveled to Mississippi the first weekend in November to the MS-NALC show..  Our traveling partners were Tyson, Pepper, Annie and Abigail.  Oh, and of course Little Lit, now Braveheart’s Hot Tamale.  We delivered Hot Tamale to her new owners Ben and Tasha Moffitt.

We arrived in Birmingham, AL and then drove the 4 ½ hours to Tori Earls home and we were greeted by Tori, Len and Justin with wonderful Southern Hospitality.  We ate so much this show weekend.  The food was fantastic... Mr. Len does a mean BBQ!

We had a wonderful show.  Seeing all our Catahoula friends is always a plus. Our dogs made us very proud with all they accomplished this weekend.  The first thing and maybe the highlight for me was the Cattle Trials on Saturday morning.  There were 23 teams of dogs, cowboys and cowgirls.  We were the 2nd team up and I am pleased to say had an excellent run. My team consisted of Braveheart’s Sargent Pepper, Aden’s Midnight Abigail and WATCH Annie Oakley.  At the end of the trials my team placed 3rd over all and Pepper was High Point Female.  This was very exciting and quite an accomplishment personally for me.  This was the first time that I placed in the top 4 against all the folks who have been doing this for years.

The rest of the show continued to hold many more exciting wins. One of the other exciting things that happened, Braveheart’s Sargent Pepper became a Double Champion before the age of two!

You can see by the wins for the weekend why I am so proud of my dogs!
